In Hakuden, every faction is a different way of reading the same World OS.

Belief: stability is justice. Forgetting can be mercy.
Tool: Whitecold (Haku-rei) — a control scent that suppresses records.

Belief: protect people, even with forbidden methods.
Tool: Soil/Rain contracts — physical anchoring and reality-fixing.

Belief: survival is justice.
Tool: memory-touch, temptation, and night rituals—always with harm inside the kindness.

Belief: rewrite the world.
Tool: weaponized formulas: artificial identity scents, cloned souls, industrial aroma harm.

Belief: the world is an experiment. Observation is a curse.
Tool: minimal interference, logs, and future-fixed consequences.

Not a faction. A missing page that can write a new law: “the right to forget” without erasing the world.

Each arc shifts which faction “wins,” and what Kaori loses or gains.
